Welcome back to the May Featured Diva Interview! Every month you can learn about one of our designers and grab a great freebie kit or template pack. Just visit the blog every Tuesday to collect the kit or templates and by months end you will have a whole kit or template set to use in your digital scrapbooking projects! This month we are meeting Teresa of Teresa Digi Designs.
What munchies/music do you have to have when you are designing?
I am an ice tea junkie and have a big 44 oz cup sitting on my desk at all times! I use to go to Sonic and get their Route 44 ice tea but my kids got me a huge supply of 44 oz styrofoam cups, matching lids and long straws for my birthday!
How do you choose your color palettes?
Most of my kits are theme oriented so that gives me basic ideas of what colors will work. Then I pick some preliminary colors and refine that selection by trying them with each other.
What is one of your favorite quotes?
Our family is notorious for quoting TV shows and movies so in that vein –”I’d say April 25th. Because it’s not too hot and hot too cold. All you need is a light jacket.” From Miss Congeniality when one of the contestants is asked to “Describe your perfect date.”
If you could meet anyone, living or dead, who would you meet?
I wish I knew more about my ancestors so I would like to go back a few generations and meet them.
If you won the lottery, what is the first thing you would do?
I would like to go on a bit of a splurge and travel for a while and take my family with me.

Hi and welcome to May’s Mega Kit challenge.
This is one of the easiest challenges – simply create a layout using this month’s Mega Kit: Boyish Charm
Not only do you use each months Designer Collab, you have a chance to win the next months collab for FREE! All you have to do is participate.
You can purchase it here in the shop.

Here’s my layout with the kit:

Show us what you’ve made!

This time of year, the days seem to fly by. If you have school-age children, there are projects to finish. If you have a graduate, there are special events for the grad. And if you have none of that going on in your life, we are coming close to Memorial Day which, to me, always marks the beginning of summer. Whatever is happening in your life, we are happy you are spending time with us!
In case you haven’t seen this one yet, I wanted to show you our May Design Diva Collab called Boyish Charm. It’s perfect for those masculine pages!
Then to be fair to the girls, I wanted to show you the April Design Diva Collab called Girly Girl. The papers and elements in this kit make some adorable girl pages.
Now for this week:
And one more new item that got rave reviews…We have gathered all the pieces from the iNSD Facebook Hop and assembled them into one kit. You can now purchase it in the store!
Stop by the store and see all these goodies and more. As always, the kits can be found in the store just by clicking on the photo! Have a great weekend and keep scrappin’!
May is here! And like always, with the start of a new month comes new challenges! I’m here this month with your template challenge for the month of May
You can find the download for this template here in the forum.

Here’s an example from me so you can see this template in action! I used my kit Hey Mama, which will be available in my shop.

Happy May everyone.
I’m here to host your May Journal Challenge and this month is super easy! I have seen this technique a few different places and I love it! Journal in an eye chart style like these examples anywhere on your page!

Here are the rules – go make your layout and post it back here so that we can give you some love!

What action or script do you use most when you are creating?
The only ones I generally use are the actions that I have to help me prepare the kit previews and trim elements.
If you could have a superpower what would it be?
I love to be able to fly! Federal regulations make airline travel a lot less fun than it use to be! ; )
What 5 things can you not live without?
My first instinct is to put things like my IPhone or IPad but really the most important thing is my family and the close relationship I have with my husband & kids.
What do you do to relax?
I go get a massage!
If you could learn to do anything, what would it be?
I think it would be great to know how to speak several different languages.

Welcome to this month’s font challenge! I have found an awesome, but challenging, font to use for this month’s challenge! It’s called KB All Aboard by KhrysKreations and yes, it’s train related.
Click on the button below to get this fun font!
In addition to using this font in your LO, part of the challenge this month is to include an alpha and some word art. You choose how much of each to use, just make sure your LO has an alpha, word art and the All Aboard font. To get this challenge rolling, here’s my LO:

I’m looking forward to seeing how all of you incorporate the font and alpha into you pages!

Hope everyone picked up a few things over the iNSD weekend. I know I did some shopping! Most of the designers here began working like mad on Personal Use summer releases and more. We have some great kits coming to you in May. In the meantime, we are letting you recover and will see you back next week for more goodies.
We do have a great CU product this week that will make your life as a designer easier. Check out this Action created by Bev at New E Designz…
All of us were able to test it on Macs and PCs as well. It works like a charm. The photo is linked so just click on it to find it in the shop!
You know you want to join us in the forum for this month’s 1-2-3 Follow Me Challenge! It’s gonna be fun
So what’s this about, you ask? Well I have created a list of steps to create your layout. You follow the steps and end up with a great layout that may or may not be out of your comfort zone. I promise it won’t be too tough. Here’s the layout I created using the steps of this month’s challenge.
